What is the purpose of drains?
Drains are used to pull fluid away from the wound site to prevent infection.
How long will I wear this?
We’ve found that most people continue to wear our products even after their drains are removed, due to their restricted arm movement and the ease of dressing. We wore ours for several months during reconstruction surgeries.
How do I care for the Drain Pocket Top?
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. No bleach, softener, or frowning. Ensure Velcro is closed prior to washing!
TIP: Bring your DPT on the day of surgery so you can wear it home from the hospital
